Primadophilus For Children is especially designed for children 5 years of age and under. It contains specially selected strains of freeze-dried microorganisms in a neutral base. Our product is kept refrigerated throughout the manufacturing process and should be kept in the refrigerated portion of your local Nature's Way retailer.

Usage
Primadophilus for children is designed to deliver helpful bacteria to the gut. These microorganism strains are essential to maintaining healthy intestinal flora. Under normal conditions, trillions of bacteria exist in the intestines. As part of the body's defenses they help maintain good health by preventing harmful microorganisms from infiltrating the body. Very impressed with the shipping on these products! They arrived when the email said they would, and were very clearly marked on the outside with big red labels to refrigerate promptly. Each container was placed in a foil-bubble wrap bag with a cold gel pack, then they were all packed in shipping boxes. ( I bring this up because I ordered another probiotic from another company and it arrived early, with no label about refrigeration, just in an 8 x 10 envelope, and the product was discolored, which means it was not properly refrigerated and hence not truely viable or worth the cost - so that supplier lost a customer )

This is a finely granulated, slightly sweet, pleasant and mild tasting powder. It needs just a bit of stirring, settling, stirring again to mix up smoothly.

The results have been excellent. I have been putting this in the grandkids drinks
for years. I take a capsule, but capsules are really hard for our little one's, even the tiny "pearl" proved to be too hard for the four year old to swallow.
They are very fussy, and putting it in their milk and water had to be just 1/4 - 1/2
tsp. Now I make a smoothie with a tsp or 2 per serving.

This product has four bifido cultures for the colon and three acidlophilus cultures for the small intestine. There are no harmful or questionable additives.

After antibiotics and a whooping cough vaccine last year I developed a serious and frightening episode of severe colon problems. I thought I might die. I lost 25 lbs. and was so weak I could not walk to the mailbox. I took this product initially, but had to use a much stronger (80 billion) product for a few months and the improvement in not only my colon/intestinal problems, but my overall health was amazing.

I know probiotics improve not only digestion, but overall health because they work to maintain the lining of the intestines to improve your absorbtion of nutrients from your food and prevent toxins from getting into the bloodstream via the digestion process.

Children get many essential probiotics from breastfeeding, but how many Moms get to do that long enough with today's hectic schedules.

With so many processed foods it is important to be sure children get fresh, natural food, with plenty of fiber, no sugar, and probiotics. Fermented vegetables and beverages can be great, but how many kids are going to eat them?

These probiotic bacteria outnumber the cells in our bodies and perform so many functions to keep us well.

When the grandkids are here, my main job is to make sure they have their Primadophilus powder, liquid fish oil, and vitamins/minerals along with a high fiber snack and fresh veggies. (Posted on 1/26/13)
